Welcome to Texas Orthopedic Center of Excellence
We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in GI, Orthopedic, Pain. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
Sterile Processing Tech at Texas Orthopedic Center of Excellence
The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
· Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
· Experience with all types of sterilizers
· Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
· Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
· Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
