We’re hiring a Business Office Supervisor who understands both the numbers and the people behind them. This role is about making sure the Business Office runs smoothly - where billing, insurance, scheduling, and collections are handled with care and accuracy. You’ll lead a team, solve problems, and help create a work environment that’s organized, respectful, and supportive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Business Office, including scheduling, insurance verification, billing, payment posting, and collections.
  • Support and guide your team - train new staff, provide feedback, and step in when issues need a second look.
  • Monitor cash flow and daily financial procedures to ensure everything adds up.
  • Stay current on insurance reimbursement rules and make sure your team is, too.
  • Keep supplies stocked and systems organized.
  • Be the go-to person when something needs fixing or clarifying.
  • Recommend improvements to office procedures and workflows.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff

Required Skills

What You Bring:

  • Two years of college or equivalent, preferably with a focus in Business Administration.
  • At least 2 years of business management experience, ideally in a healthcare setting.
  • A solid understanding of revenue cycle operations and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • A calm, clear approach to leadership and problem-solving.
  • The ability to support and motivate a team while keeping operations accurate, timely, and patient-focused.

This role is classified as Category III for exposure to bloodborne pathogens. You may also encounter chemical hazards.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Some bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, copier, telephone, fax machine, and other office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
