SCHEDULER (FT) - OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER TEXAS SPINE AND JOINT HOSPITAL TYLER TEXAS

Handles all incoming scheduling calls. Obtains preliminary scheduling information including procedures to be performed and projected length of cases. Adjust operating room schedule as appropriate or indicated. Communicates changes to surgeon’s offices and other as appropriate.  

Follow up with scheduling contacts, nursing personnel, physicians and/or others to obtain missing information. Post add-on cases, to operating room schedule as required, and notify appropriate personnel to include business office. Enter post-op data into database including procedures, surgeons starting and ending times, cancellations and other related information.

Multi-tasking and effective communication are key.  At least 1 year of Operating Room Scheduling experience is desired.
