Materials Manager full time

Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint is an ambulatory surgery center in Chalfont, PA specializing in Hand & Upper Extremities, Joint Replacements, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, ENT. 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Materials Manager is responsible for the process, which includes inventory control: ordering all medical supplies, maintaining an appropriate inventory of all medical supplies, receiving  and stocking of all medical supplies to their assigned area.  Provides support to the surgical team, and provides patient care within the prevailing state standards of practice and according to the policies of the facility.  Communicates appropriate information to other team members.  May have additional responsibilities designated by the manager, which may include, but are not limited to, providing patient care in other peri-operative departments, serving on committees, or participating in quality improvement projects.

• High school graduate
• CST or six months experience. 
• Current CPR. 
• Ability to demonstrate necessary clinical competency. 
• Computer skills. 
• Experience in materials management in an OR setting.
