Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our outstanding front office team.

Located in The Woodlands, TX, our center is a partnership between physicians and United Surgical Partners International, and is proudly affiliated with Memorial Hermann Health System. We specialize in providing high-quality outpatient surgical care in a comfortable, efficient setting. Our team is committed to delivering excellent patient experiences from check-in to recovery — and it all starts at the front desk.

About the Role

As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes patients and families to our center. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth and positive experience, from registration through discharge. You'll handle patient check-ins, insurance verification, payments, and administrative support with a calm and professional approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Check patients in and out of appointments and procedures
  • Verify insurance benefits and collect copays or balances as needed
  • Accurately enter patient information into the electronic system
  • Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
  • Collaborate with clinical and business office staff to support smooth daily operations

Required Skills

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office, registration, or front desk role preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations is a plus
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is helpful (e.g., NextGen, Cerner, Epic, etc.)
