Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in surgical instrumentation, sterile techniques, and operating room procedures, ensuring optimal support to surgeons and staff during surgical cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
  • Ensure instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, assembled, and maintained.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating the needs of surgeons.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
  • Handle specimens accurately and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Participate in room turnover and restocking of surgical supplies.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
  • Previous surgical tech experience preferred; ASC experience is a plus.

Required Experience

  • 1+ year of experience as a Surgical Technologist (preferred)
  • Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting is a plus
  • Experience in multiple surgical specialties (orthopedic, ophthalmology, GI, etc.) preferred
