Housekeeper at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Garland:
· Maintain cleanliness in patient care areas, offices, hallways, and common spaces
· Sanitize and disinfect surfaces to uphold health and safety standards
· Remove trash and hazardous waste following proper protocols
· Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
· Assist in laundry services as needed
· Follow infection control procedures to ensure a sterile environment
· Work collaboratively with staff to support overall facility operations
Qualifications
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
· Strong attention to detail and organization
· Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Time management and efficiency in completing tasks
· Understanding of infection control and sanitation procedures
· Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience required (healthcare setting preferred)
· Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely
· Familiarity with infection control standards in a medical facility (preferred)
