Physician's Surgery Center of Knoxville is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery in the Pre-Op area, ensuring they are informed, comfortable, and prepared.
- Monitor and assess patients in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) following surgery, providing compassionate care as they recover from anesthesia.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to deliver seamless, patient-centered care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Required Skills
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Pre-Op or PACU nursing preferred; experience in a surgical or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
