Business Office Coordinator at Northridge Surgery Center

The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) is responsible with the day-to-day operations of the business office, including AP AND AR. The BOC is also responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Registration, Insurance Verification and Medical Records.

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s preferred
  • Minimum of two years business office management experience
  • Three years' experience in a medical setting such as a hospital, physician's office, or surgery center required.
  • Must have accounts payable and receivable experience
  • Must have Insurance Verification experience
  • Knowledge of Insurance Verification, Scheduling, Registration and Medical Records
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with staff, patients, families and physicians
