Sterile Processing Tech FT

Hacienda Surgery Center is hiring for a full time Sterile Processing Tech!

Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Pay Range: $30-$38/hour (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors, including but not limited to an individual's qualifications and experience.) 

• High School diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
