We are looking to add a Full Time RN who is a team player to our GI/Urology Ambulatory Surgical Center, Pacific Endo Surgical Center in Torrance, CA. We need someone who has good energy, enjoys customer service and performs well with minimal supervision. If this is you, we would encourage you to come visit with us.
Full time consist of 30+ hrs. per week with 5 days per week availability. The daily hours will vary based on the need of the center with the shift starting mid morning to possible late afternoon.
Pacific Endo Surgical Center :Urology/GI
The GI RN P is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The GI RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The GI RN reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Requirements:
Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
Minimum Experience: 1-2 Years
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current California Nursing License
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
Excellent teaching skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change
Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
Required Experience
* Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.

Hourly Range: $51.00 - $60.00/ hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
