West Bozeman Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full time Endoscopy Scope Cleaner to join the team!

West Bozeman Outpatient Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.   We believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service-oriented environment for our patient’s surgical procedures. Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission. 

Job Summary: 

The Endoscopy Scope Cleaner is responsible for the preparation of equipment and supplies used for endoscopy scope reprocessing environment in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Policies and Procedures.

Key Duties: 

  •          Check equipment to assure appropriate working order
  •          Assist Pre-op with patient flow
  •          Keep accurate logs of scope reprocessing maintenance
  •          Order reprocessing supplies and send out scopes for repairs
  •          After the endoscopy procedure is completed the technician will:
  •          Clean endoscopes
  •          Dispose of soiled linen and trash
  •          Wipe all surfaces with antiseptic solution
  •          Maintain cleaning log for endoscopes
  •          Assist with restocking of supplies in endoscopy unit
  •          Maintain a clean and safe environment
  •          Provide flexible staffing hours to meet patient care needs
  •          Assist in other areas as needed

 

  • Monday-Friday work schedule
  • NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
  • NO call required
  • Free Parking

Required Skills

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • One year experience in an endoscopy environment preferred.
  • Experience as a sterile processing tech preferred
  • Current CPR certification
