Full-Time Operating Room Turnover Technician

Haymarket Surgery Center is a multi- specialty outpatient surgery center that is committed to patient excellence in every facet of patient contact. We are seeking an experienced OR RN to join our team. 

The Operating Room Turnover Technician plays a vital role in the surgical team by ensuring operating rooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for the next surgery. This position requires a dedicated individual who can perform rapid, efficient, and detailed cleaning duties in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infection control practices and be committed to providing a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff 

The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 6 months through adolescence. Our scope of service includes orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery including robotics, ENT, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, pain management, and spine surgery.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in surgical services or environmental services.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and the use of disinfectants.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent physical condition, capable of standing for long periods, bending, and lifting heavy load
