Operating Room Nurse

USPI Shoreline Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Must be able to work early morning hours; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Job Summary: The RN OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• 1+ years of experience working as a Circulator preferred, but not required. Will trained the right candidate.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.
