Physician's Surgery Center of Chattanooga is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join our team. Physician's Surgery Center of Chattanooga is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

The Operating Room Nurse, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the following surgical procedures in the following specialties: ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology and gynecology.

The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multitask, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Two (2) years experience in surgery.
• Current, unrestricted TN RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• CNOR preferred
• Critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
