Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii is looking for a per-diem GI Technician / Medical Assistant to join our amazing team. We are willing to hire and cross-train medical assistants!

About the Opportunity

As a GI Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

 

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.

 

Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs

NO call required, NO Nights

Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

 


Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech
  • Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques
