Full-Time Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Christus Cabrini Surgery Center is a multispecialty surgical facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Located in the heart of Alexandria, LA, we pride ourselves on delivering efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care to our patients and their families.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Patient Care Technician to join our Pre Op/Post Op team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist nurses and medical staff in providing excellent care to patients in the PreOp and Post Op areas.
• Take, monitor and document vital signs, patient observations, and recovery progress.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during pre- and post-operative care.
• Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Provide oral fluids to the patient per nurse instructions
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide support as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PCT/CNA experience preferred.
• Longevity in past roles.
• BLS/CPR Certification required.
• Demonstrated longevity in previous roles, showcasing reliability and commitment.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
