Med-Laser Surgical Center, located in Montebello, CA, is a premier outpatient surgical facility specializing in a full range of advanced ophthalmologic, optometric and optical services and procedures in a family friendly environment. About the Opportunity
The Medical Assistant will attend to patients/customers on the phone and in person. The Medical assistant will coordinate and organize daily responsibilities congruent with physician schedules. They will also assist physicians with giving the highest quality of care to every patient/customer while triaging patients/customers, completing review of systems, and prepare each patient/customer for the upcoming physician examination.
The starting pay for this position is between $23 to $27 per hour.

- NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!

Required Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis
- Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections (if applicable)
- Current certification in BLS
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required Experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent (required)
- Registered, certified, or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program (preferred, with maintenance of certification, license, and CME’s)
