TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital, is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team. TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.  

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

• Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.

• Proficiency in post-surgical nursing procedures, including pain management and wound care.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards.
• Skilled in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations.

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in post-surgical, PACU, or acute care nursing preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of pain management protocols and post-operative care best practices.
