PRN Maintenance Technician – Physicians Surgery Center in Jackson, TN

Physicians Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our multispecialty surgery center operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist with general building upkeep, including lighting, minor construction, and painting.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and assist with vendor coordination.
• Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or surgical facility.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
