Patient Care Technician CNA part time

Gateway Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Patient Care Technician to join our team. Gateway Surgery Center is an outpatient surgical center specifically designed to provide endoscopic procedures in a comfortable and professional environment.  This facility provides patients expanded services and convenient scheduling. This is a fast paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes. 

Job Summary: Provides direct patient care under the direction of an RN by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures as needed. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Works well in a team environment that strive to exceed customer expectations.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR or BLS. CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competencies.
• Utilizes good communication skills.
• Has a positive attitude.
