Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in surgical instrumentation, sterile techniques, and operating room procedures, ensuring optimal support to surgeons and staff during surgical cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.

  • Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment.

  • Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating the needs of surgeons.

  • Maintain a sterile field and follow all infection control and safety protocols.

  • Handle specimens correctly and ensure accurate documentation.

  • Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

  • Participate in room turnover and restocking of surgical supplies.

  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.

Required Experience

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program required.

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  • Experience in an outpatient or hospital setting is a plus.
