Insurance Verifier full time

Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced full time Insurance Verifier to join our team.

Today we are the largest ambulatory surgery platform in the country, with more than 350 ambulatory surgery centers and 28 surgical hospitals. We are looking for a Surgical Scrub Technologist for our Surgery Center.

Job Summary

The Insurance Verification Clerk is responsible for validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system. Duties may also include communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patient follow-ups. 

• High School diploma or equivalent required. 
• 1 Year of medical insurance verification required
• Ability to learn new programs and systems required.
• Ability to read and evaluate Healthcare Receivables Information (required).
• Ability to effectively and correctly communicate to the staff, management and payers.
