X-Ray Tech PRN

Aloe Surgery Center is seeking a PRN X-Ray Tech to join the team!

JOB SUMMARY

The X-Ray Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. 

Qualifications: Able to read, write, type, and perform calculations at a level generally acquired through completion of high school plus six months or less training beyond high school.

·         Able to prepare reports and keep records.

·         Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team.

·         Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.

·         Familiar with medical terminology and departmental supply items.

·         Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

·         State Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.

·         Basic Life Cardiac Support.

• Education and/or Experience: Graduate of an approved school of Radiology. Currently licensed in the state.  CPR required, advanced life support certification required.  One year experience required intra-operative setting.  Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

  Active state license and ARRT license required upon hire. 
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
