USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Sugar Land, is seeking a motivated Endoscopy RN to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.
Job Summary: Responsible to plan, execute, and evaluate the nursing care given to patients in the Endoscopy nursing role. Provides patient care within the prevailing state standards of practice and according to the policies of the facility. Communicates appropriate information to other team members. Helps maintain equipment, supplies, and general cleanliness of the unit. May have additional responsibilities designated by the manager, which may include but are not limited to providing patient care in other peri-operative departments, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement projects.

Required Skills
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state.
- CPR required; advanced life support certification required.
- Minimum of one-year experience in Endoscopy; PACU experience required
- SGNA certification preferred.
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
- Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
