RN OR Circulator, FT

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides intra operative nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient,  circulating the case, and preparation of  the surgical suite preoperatively and post operatively. 

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments in a multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center setting,  maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• 2-5  years of experience working as a Circulator in fast paced ASC setting or similar experience in the hospital setting in a multispecialty facility including but not limited to ENT, opthalmology, including cataract and retina services,  pediatric dental, podiatry, general surgery, urology, occular plastics, gyn, and orthopedics.
• current  BLS certification and ACLS certification required.
