The RCP 2-Adult is responsible for independently utilizing respiratory care therapy to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality respiratory care services through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff and other departments. Responsible for responding to all code blue/emergency situations in the hospital and acts as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner in the absence of the Lead. Complies with the State of California standards for Respiratory Care.

Required Experience
- 2-4 Years in Acute Respiratory Care
- Current California RCP license
- RRT by the NBRC
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association preferred.
- A City fire card within 6 months of employment.
