With co-signature on all documentation and weekly supervision by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, this position will provide a full range of speech pathology services to include evaluation and treatment for speech and language disorders, cognitive impairments, visual field deficits and dysphagia. Complies with all regulations, standards, hospital and department policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Experience in the evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and elderly with a variety of diagnoses.
  • Experience in clinical dysphagia evaluation and treatment.
  • Experience in evaluation and treatment of cognitive impairments, neurological disorders and voice disorders.

Required Experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalency in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited education program.
  • Temporary state license as a Speech Pathologist by the State of California Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Completion of hospital-based externship during Master’s degree program.
  • Current CPR certification.
