The Chief of Staff (COS) to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a critically important role, enabling the COO and CNO to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders and fulfill his/her commitment to the organization. The COS acts as a strategic partner to the COO and CNO and the primary goal of this role is to enhance the COO’s and CNO’s effectiveness by managing various tasks and projects, allowing the COO and CNO to concentrate on top priorities and long-term objective. This is not an administrative role but is a highly strategic and facilitative one that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to be an active, behind-the-scenes assistant. This role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical and project management skills. This is an exempt position.

Required Experience
Required:
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a tolerance for working on multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
· Excellent verbal and written skills, and an ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
· High level of proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office programs required.
· Must obtain LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
Preferred:
· Bachelor's degree, specializing in business administration, healthcare management, or similar areas required.
· Experience in a management position, preferably in a hospital/healthcare setting.
· Project management skills.
· Understanding of business operations and strategic execution.
