The Manager, Physician Recruitment is responsible for leading and overseeing the physician and advanced practice provider recruitment function for PIH Health. This role provides strategic, operational, and people leadership for the full-cycle physician recruitment process, ensuring alignment with organizational growth plans, service line strategies, and Medical Group objectives.
Reporting to System Director of Talent Acquisition, this role partners closely with the Vice President of Medical Group Operations, Department Chairs, Chiefs, and executive and physician leaders to design, execute, and continuously improve comprehensive physician recruitment strategies across multiple specialties.
The Manager, Physician Recruitment is accountable for recruitment outcomes, team performance, process optimization, and delivering a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, proven leadership capabilities, and deep expertise in physician recruitment within complex healthcare systems.

- Familiarity with recruitment-related technology (CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, Sourcing Tools).
- Some travel required
Required Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 7 years of physician recruitment experience within hospitals and/or health systems
- Demonstrated success recruiting physicians across multiple specialties
- Prior experience leading recruitment initiatives or teams
- Ability to travel nationally for recruiting events
Preferred
- Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP)
- Experience partnering with senior executive and physician leadership
- Prior management or supervisory experience in physician recruitment
