CT Technologist, Lead is responsible for daily operation of the Computed Tomography imaging modality with general oversight from Radiology Advanced Imaging Manager and/or designee. This position is responsible for coordinating patient exams and staffing assignments and serves as a resource for CT Technologists. This position leads Quality Assurance tasks and initiatives within the modality to ensure regulatory and hospital requirements are met, including continuous evaluation of departmental processes and exam protocols. This position demonstrates mastery of all hospital and clinical level imaging competencies.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical skills in computed tomography
  • Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Advanced knowledge of modality specific quality control standards
  • Skilled in accuracy of positioning and scanning techniques
  • Strong patient care and assessment techniques
  • High degree of critical thinking skills

Required Experience

Required:

  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • State of California CRT
  • CPR/BLS: American Heart Association
  • Four (4) years’ experience scanning in acute care environment.
  • Certificate in Venipuncture

 

Preferred:

  • Fluoroscopy certification.

$46.00

Maximum Salary

$68.00
