As Task Order Program Manager, will oversee and manage the execution of a specific task order within our VIRGO Program. This position will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of the task order statement of work, ensuring successful delivery of services, meeting contractual requirements and maintaining client satisfaction. The Task Order Program Manager is required to be physically present and available during business hours. The position demands flexibility, including travel to third-world locations, and availability to address urgent issues outside of regular business hours.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)
- Lead the execution of a task order, ensuring all deliverables are met according to the specified scope, timeline, and budget.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all aspects of the task order.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates on progress.
- Identify and assess potential risks and issues related to the task order.
- Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and regulatory requirements throughout the task order's lifecycle.
- Maintaining close coordination with the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure seamless operation
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum six (6) years of related experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- It is desired that the Task Order Program Manager have experience working on a global life support service effort in third world countries.
- Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project) and work management systems such as MAXIMO, CMMS a plus.
- Experience in execution of Level-of-Effort, cost type contracts.
TRAVEL: Willingness to travel, approximately 30%
CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI FSP clearance
