As the Systems Engineer, you ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. You apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, communications management, or an equivalent bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• 5 years of experience working as a Systems Engineer

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Minimum four (4) years of experience operating a Microsoft Windows domain. Years of experience beyond the minimum may be considered a strength.
• Work experience shall also include/demonstrate:
• All aspects of hardware and software pertaining to Microsoft server products; in particular in Public Key Infrastructure, Active Directory, System Center, SharePoint, and SQL server experience with Microsoft Active Directory in a multiple-site architecture;
• Strong organizational, communication, and managerial skills;
• Ability to initiate and manage a project from inception to completion; and
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, conduct research, and to learn and propose new technology solutions.
