POSITION: Full-time, Temporary Instructor of Art, Graphic Design.  The Department of Art, Music and Theatre Arts at Cameron University is seeking an energetic, versatile faculty member to teach courses in the BFA Graphic Design Concentration. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Faculty will be responsible to teach the Graphic Design curriculum and other courses as needed.  This position also requires a commitment to Departmental and University service, as well as the following duties:

·        Art program and general education assessment

·        Contributing to the Art Area Foyer and Hallway Gallery by showcasing your students’ artwork

·        Participating in the organization of exhibitions in the Science Complex and MCC Inasmuch galleries

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Must have at least one of the following:

1)     Possess a master’s degree and 12 graduate hours in the field/discipline being taught

2)     Possess a master’s degree and have relevant work experience and/or certification and credentials in the field/discipline to be taught.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s Degree with a BFA in Graphic Design and two years of graphic design teaching or professional experience.  Candidate should demonstrate thorough computer skills and extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with education and experience.
