JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cameron University-Duncan is seeking professionals to teach in person, undergraduate classes in the following areas:
Biology
Business
Chemistry
English
Family and Child Studies
Fine Arts (Art, Music, or Theatre)
History
Mathematics
Political Science
Psychology
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adjuncts may teach a maximum of 9 credit hours a semester. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION:
Adjunct faculty report to the Chair of the department to which they are teaching from.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Adjunct Faculty must have at least one of the following:
1) Possess a bachelor’s degree AND 18 graduate hours in the field/discipline being taught for a general education course
2) Possess a master’s degree and 12 graduate hours in the field/discipline being taught
3) Possess a master’s degree and have relevant work experience and/or certification and credentials in the field/discipline to be taught
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
1) Possess a doctorate degree in the discipline to be taught OR
2) Possess a master’s degree in the discipline to be taught
SALARY RANGE:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
