RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Education in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies invites applications for one full-time Instructor position in the field of early childhood education (undergraduate-level). This is a full-time teaching position. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include participation in teacher education/departmental activities, departmental assessment activities, and advising undergraduate students. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Education or related field, recent early childhood teaching experience in the public schools, willingness to incorporate modern technology into assigned courses, ability to work cooperatively, and concern for students. Potential for or demonstrated competencies in teaching, service and research; Minimum of 3 years teaching young children, birth through age 8. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates with university teaching experience, record of scholarly activity and/or grant writing, and experience in supervision of student teachers.

SALARY RANGE:
Commensurate with experience.
