A full-time Prequalification Analyst to join our Whiting-Turner team.
What It Takes
The ideal candidate has a background in business and construction with an understanding of accounting principles, financials analysis, and an interest in the construction field. This individual will bring experience of providing customer service in a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicants will join our prequalification team in reviewing subcontractor prequalification profiles.
- Assignments include daily office attendance to local Whiting-Turner office
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, 40 hours/week
Job Description
Reporting Relationship: will report to a department manager, coordinator, or analyst.
Tasks Assigned: You will be responsible for various aspects of risk analysis for financial, safety and other aspects of prequalification. Your daily tasks will include some or all the following:
- Utilizing prequalification software
- Reviewing subcontractor submissions for completeness & accuracy while maintaining quality and productivity goals
- Engaging with trade partners & subcontractors for missing information
- By both written (email) and phone
- Analyzing income & balance statements for financial risk evaluation
- Providing feedback to other analysts and project teams on risk findings
- Attending weekly progress meetings
- Assisting with maintaining logs as required
- And any other duties that may be assigned
Required Skills
Technical Capabilities: Qualified candidates should be familiar with the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
