OR SURGICAL TECHNICIAN (F/T, 40hrs | Days Rotating)- Fox Chase Cancer Center

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for patient care and safety during surgical procedures. Duties include case and patient preparation, proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment, preparing the sterile field according to the procedure and surgeon's preferences, and anticipating the surgeon's needs.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program – Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Certified Surgical Technologist – Required OR
• Certified Operating Room Technician – Required
