Qlarant is seeking a dedicated and analytical Scientist/Statistician to join our team on a full-time, regular basis. As a Scientist/Statistician at Qlarant, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward by applying statistical techniques to complex data sets, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of our services and solutions within the industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing experiments, analyzing data, interpreting results, and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and help solve challenging problems. Your ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-experts will be crucial in ensuring that data-driven strategies are effectively implemented. You will also be expected to stay abreast of the latest statistical methodologies and best practices, ensuring that Qlarant remains at the forefront of the industry. Travel requirements for this role are negligible, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality work from your remote location. As a Scientist/Statistician at Qlarant, you will be responsible for the scientific integrity of work products for specified contracts, including study design, research methodology, and deployment of statistical approaches and epidemiologic validity of the projects. Tasks may encompass quasi-experimental study design, feasibility assessment, sampling, statistical methods employed, and the overall reliability and validity of the processes employed, either through direct intercession or through professional consultation.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Required Experience
Education and/or Experience:
- Master’s degree required, Doctorate (preferred) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, Research Methodology, Economics, Sociology, Social Work, or Nursing
- At least 8 years’ experience in analytic/scientific level or demonstrated equivalent experience and education.
- Experience working in healthcare or related industries with applications relevant to the nature of the work.
- Proficiency in statistical software preferred (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, Python with statistical packages)
- Familiarity with database management and SQL preferred
