Project Manager

Reporting to the Vice-President of the division, you will manage all aspects of the business including strategic and operational planning, financial and human resource management, and client interaction. You will develop the business and ensure its on-going service excellence and financial viability. You will develop and implement marketing and business plans, enter into client consultations to establish needs, and participate in the development of proposals and pricing of services. You will work closely with research engineers and technologists to design projects and deliver solutions to a variety of clients. You will provide day-to-day management of the team, including assigning duties, providing opportunities for training and development, conducting performance monitoring and evaluations, and participating in recruitment activities as required. As Business Unit Manager, you will coach and develop staff and allocate resources to ensure the delivery of service excellence and business unit financial performance. You have demonstrated your ability to understand technical challenges and communicate solutions. You also have experience with external client interaction. Your strength in financial management, strategic planning, along with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills positions you well to deliver quality results. Your demonstrated management and customer relation skills are critical to your success in this position.
