Driver Hazardous Materials

Operates a vehicle carrying fuel or other hazardous materials. May dispense fuel to customer vehicles. Performs vehicle equipment inspection daily. Recommends and schedules mechanical repairs as needed and adheres to safety practices. May not have more than three moving violations and or more than four points within the previous thirty-six months. May not have more than two preventable accidents in previous thirty-six months. Driver shall not have been convicted of DUI or Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Applicant shall not have had any convictions for vehicular homicide or for any other felony committed while driving a motor vehicle. Shall have transportation to work. Must pass a D.O.T. physical examination and alcohol and controlled substance test. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must have a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) issued by their state of residence and may not possess more than one license. Must have a minimum of two years over-the-road experience or three years local experience verifiable. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to a supervisor.
