Plans, develops, and administers the company''s employee benefits programs including health and wellness, income protection, retirement, and related programs. Makes plan design recommendations regarding program enhancement and controlling costs. Ensures compliance with federal and state legal and tax requirements and prepares and files required reports. Answers complex employee questions, interfaces with benefit vendors to resolve routine problems, conducts benefits portion of orientation, and counsels employees on types of coverage.  May requires a bachelor''s degree or its equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in the field. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Works under general supervision on a variety of projects.  Typically reports to a Benefits Manager.
