Business Ventures & Communications is seeking a Reception Administrative Officer to deliver a broad range of administrative support to the Division. You will process material and create, format and edit a variety of visually pleasing, clear and presentable scientific reports and documents using various software applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro. In addition, you will work closely with the Receptionist to answer phone calls and welcome guests to SRC, respond to clients'' queries, provide information and manage clients'' complaints effectively, and provide backup to the Copy Centre. You are an advanced user of Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office 2007. You are skilled at troubleshooting and using basic office equipment. You are team-oriented and have high attention to detail. Your strong organizational and interpersonal skills position you well to deliver quality work in a customer service-oriented office environment. As the ideal candidate, you have experience working with a highly technical scientific group, and are familiar with scientific terms, notations, referencing and report formatting. You have an administrative diploma or equivalent and one to five years of administrative support and computer applications experience.
