Air Traffic Supervisor

Supervises, schedules, oversees and directs training for controllers at a facility. Ensures that all reporting requirements are met for the facility and all local directives and SOPs are followed. Acts as liaison with airport management and FAA at local level. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
