Safety Representative I

Monitors safety compliance issues and reports discrepancies.  Investigates accidents and prepare OSHA reports.  Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, completion of safety investigators course, and 2 – 3 years experience in related field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under general supervision.  Typically reports to an executive or a manager.
