Accounting Spvr I

Responsible for supervision of accounting professionals. Oversees the inputting, calculating, reviewing, and posting of financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records. Reports on the group''s project costs and billings as well as collections of accounts receivables.  Also requires research and analysis of various cost and revenue issues that may arise in the normal course of business. Works as the liaison between the line and general accounting and human resources on issues as they arise.  Leads most day to day operations of group. May require a bachelor''s degree in area of specialty. Familiar with a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Managerial Skills 

Experience working in an account setting for 2-5 years.

Experience managing more that 2 employee
