Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Instructor II, Full Time, Nights - NSG-In Service - Full-Time - 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.
The Clinical Instructor will assume a major role in the orientation of new nursing personnel. They are responsible for the orientation process from the classroom to the clinical area by working with the orientee and the preceptor. The roles of the Clinical Instructor are of educator facilitator change agent consultant researcher and leader. The roles emerge from the ANA Scope and Standard of Practice for Nursing Professional Development.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Current license to practice professional nursing in New York State Bachelors or BSN required; Masters Degree preferred
5 years progressively more responsible nursing acute care experience
BLS and ACLS required
Demonstrates knowledge of relevant educational content including knowledge of teaching and learning theories principles of adult education testing measurement and evaluation
Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
Demonstrates high level computer skills.
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
Emergency Department and ICU experience preferred
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Long Island Community Hospital provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $97,032.00 - $139,171.50 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
