Assistant/Associate Professor, Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure track faculty appointment.
The position's responsibilities include teaching the computer science courses that comprise the undergraduate computer science curriculum at La Sierra University, participating in department strategic planning and its implementation, fulfilling the service expectations of a campus faculty member, and maintaining growth and production in one's area of research.

Prospective candidates should have an earned doctoral degree in computer science, and some teaching experience involving the courses typical to undergraduate computer science.
Wage Range: $88,518.00 to $105,248.00 plus generous benefits
Required Experience
- The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- An earned doctorate in computer science with a commitment to creating a strong undergraduate computer science community on campus.
- Experience teaching courses in undergraduate computer science with evidence of strong teaching/pedagogical skills.
- Evidence of continued growth and productivity in one's area of research.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are members of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
- Applicants in the final stages of their dissertation are encouraged to contact the department chair for possible consideration.
