Machine Operator

·        Follow written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed by work standard sheets.  

·        Manually loads blanks into machine and place parts into inventory baskets.

·        Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.

·        Performs first piece inspection of set-up parts as required by Quality Inspection Instructions and/or as directed by supervisor.

·        Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately.

·        Labels and/or tags parts and baskets accurately.

·        Operates Progressive or Transfer Press.

·        Troubleshoots and diagnose production run issues.

·        Understand that punctual and regular attendance is required.

·        Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor

Candidates who are most successful in this role have the following:

• The ability to stay focused on a task.
• Mechanical aptitude to problem solve and diagnose production challenges.

Preferred experience to be a successful team member:

• 2 or more years experience operating large production related equipment.
• Working in a manufacturing setting.
• The ability to meet daily production quota's.
• Working in a fast paced setting.
