Position Description

Assists with the administration and implementation of Human Resources services, programs and policies. Contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources objectives that drive a workplace culture that attracts, retains and engages superior employees.  

Employee Information

  • Enters data into HR systems and databases i.e. ADP, LMS, SuccessFactors, Franklin Covey. Ensure accuracy of information in all systems. Perform routine system audits to ensure data integrity
  • Maintains company organizational chart
  • Prepares and maintains employee personnel files ensuring completeness, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Ensures Job Descriptions and Training Matrixes are signed and meet compliance requirements
  • Responds to employment verification requests
  • Assists with employee communications (merit increase program, bonus program, benefits open enrollment, etc.)
  • Administers all aspects of field employee vendor credentialing and maintains appropriate records
  • Updates and manages all required HR Reporting processes (some are global)
  • Coordinate with Global HR team members to ensure data collection and accuracy
  • Provide payroll system backup for HLT

Employee On-boarding and Off-Boarding

  • Coordinates the job offer process including the preparation of offer-letters, background checks, and pre-employment drug screens
  • Delivers the orientation program to newly hired employees
  • Coordinates employee off-boarding activities including providing necessary benefit/payroll forms, administering the electronic exit interview survey and acting as contact for any questions

HR Function Support

  • Administration of rewards and recognition programs
  • Coordination of Learning & Development events and logistics
  • Assist with candidate interview scheduling as needed
  • Member of Safety Committee

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Minimum:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Human Resource, payroll or similar roll
  • High level of organizational skills, time manager and keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Moderate to high level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in protecting confidential information
  • High level of enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws
  • Payroll administration experience
